Posters , Tshirts and Merchandise
I remember when I was a kid I had dozens of posters on my bedroom walls, covering my school books, on my wardrobe doors, they were everywhere. In those days, the only way I could get a good one was from a magazine. (I hated the staple marks in the middle!) Come to think of it, posters are used for lots of different reasons. Bands use them to advertise concerts, as do other companies. Movie posters are a big hit as well. Everyone loves a poster of their favorite movie on the lounge room wall. I've also been a big collector of memorabillia of different bands that I have seen in concert. I've bought mainly tshirts and programes and I still have some of them (somewhere!) today. One of the best things I managed to get was an autograph from Michael Hutchence and some of the other guys from INXS.They had recently released their first album and they played a lunch time concert at my high school. Since that day I have been a big fan of INXS, not all of their music grabs me, but I'm still proud to say that I have the autograph which is probably worth a bit today.
