Music Fashion,You have to look the part!

music fashion

I must say, the music fashion of today is very different to when I was starting in the music industry.

I remember one of the first things I learned about being a professional musician is that you have to look the part!

music fashion Maybe it's tartan or funny three quarter length pants that you fancy?

The secret is not to dress like you have just stepped out of the audience. You need to 'stand out in the crowd'.

Don't try to be someone you're not and definitely don't copy your hero, just be you.

Dress appropriately. Don't wear stuff that's going to creep up your back side all night (and then 'turn your back' to the audience and pull it out! The guitarist in my first band used to wear pants that were a little too tight. We never told him to face the audience to fix him self up!).

Make sure you're comfortable and you look good!

You're out to impress.

I hate watching guys or girls perform and they haven't made any effort to dress like a performer and have made no effort with their appearance at all. They look drabby and un-interested.

You want to be remembered for being unique and good at what you do, not for looking terrible and O.K music.

Make an impression. Make them remember you.
